Employers: Career Transition

Swift Human Resources offers a Career Transition Services Program that helps employers lay off staff efficiently and with empathy. We provide employers with answers to their questions about: legal requirements; how to tell an employee he or she is laid off; exit interview techniques; the management of existing staff; and change management.

This Career Transition Program also enables your employees to:

  • evaluate their career choices;
  • identify their existing capabilities;
  • obtain job search skills and knowledge of the current market; and
  • receive support and resources in order to help them get back into the workforce in a quick and efficient manner.

Making a transition can be very stressful for employees. As well, dealing with uncertainty, the challenge of finding a new employer, the fear of not knowing what other fields are offering, and the confusion involved when assessing if one has the necessary skills to enter a new work environment is somewhat overwhelming.

Swift Human Resources Services is here to help you reassure your employees that making a transition can be an opportunity to explore new possibilities!

SWIFT offers a variety of services and resources to companies and their employees. These can be taken in the form of workshops, one-on-one counselling or a combination of both.

  • Transition counselling
  • Career and skills assessment
  • Résumé building
  • Interviewing skills
  • Job search coaching
  • Networking

Swift Human Resources prides itself on being specialists in helping people find the resources they need. With this in mind, we will help your employees discover opportunities for training, as well as direct them towards the appropriate resources to achieve their new goals. Part of our expertise is being able to provide them with information on ways to get government funding (if feasible), help them find the nearest vocational center that may be offering the courses they require to upgrade their technical skills, and guide them to government organizations that can be of assistance in their search for employment.
